Pica8 Finds $12.5M
Palo Alto-based software defined networking (SDN) startup Pica8 said today that it has raised $12.5M in a Series B funding round, to go towards software development and got-to-market. The funding was led by VantagePoint Capital Partners, Cross Head and Pacific Venture Partners (PVP). Pica8 is led by James Liao, and is focused on using commodity switches to enable migration to software-defined networking.
