San Francisco-based
Product Hunt, an online site focused on surfacing new and interesting products--think Reddit for consumer products--has raised $6.1M in a Series A funding. The funding was led by Andreessen Horowitz, and also included reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian. Andreessen Horowitz's Steven Sinofsky joins the company's board. Other investors in the round include A-Grade Investments, Abdur Chowdhury, Andrew Chen, betaworks, Cowboy Ventures, CrunchFund, Greylock Discovery Fund, Ludlow Ventures, Naval Ravikant, Nir Eyal, Slow Ventures, SV Angel, and Tradecraft. Product Hunt has now raised $7.1M in total.
