WeatherSphere Acquired By E.W. Scripps
Mountain View-based WeatherSphere, a developer of weather-related mobile apps, has been acquired by publisher E.W. Scripps Co., E.W. Scripps said this week. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. WeatherSphere was founded by Raghav Gupta. The company's products include RadarCast, a high definition, animated weather radar app, Weatheralerts, a tornado and severe weather warning app, as well as other related apps.
