Imago Biosciences Sees $26.5M
San Francisco-based biotechnology developer Imago BioSciences said last week that it has raised $26.5M in a Series A funding. The funding came from Clarus Ventures, along with Frazier Healthcare, Amgen Ventures, and Merck Research Labs Venture Fund. Imago Biosciences is working on therapeutics that alter gene expression patterns. The company said that Clarus Ventures and Frazier Healthcare both gain a seat on the company's board. Imago BioSciences is led by Hugh Young Rienhoff.
