SanDisk has made an investment in Israeli LTE chipset maker
Altair Semiconductor, the company said this morning, as part of a strategic alliance with the company. Financial details of the investment were not disclosed. SanDisk said the investment came via its venture arm, SanDisk Ventures. Altair makes high performance, single mode LTE chipsets used in tablets, netbooks, USB dongles, portable hotspots, routers and modems, and many other devices.
