Intel Buys PasswordBox
Santa Clara-based Intel said this morning that it has acquired PasswordBox, a provider of software used by consumers to manage their website and application login information without having to type or remember passwords. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. intel was backed by OMERS Ventures. Intel said PasswordBox becomes part of its Intel Security Group, and had 44 employees, all of whom have joined Intel Security.
