SunPower Invests $20M In Tendril
San Jose-based solar systems manufacturer SunPower said this morning that it has made a $20M investment in Tendril, which develops software used for monitoring and analyzing smart energy usage. SunPower said it will also license Tendril's Energy Service Management (ESM) Platform, to help power a new set of smart energy applications. SunPower said the move would further personalize the company's energy services. Tendril is based in Boulder, Colorado.
