Expect Labs Raises $13M For Voice Interfaces
San Francisco-based <Expect Labs, a developer of a platform for building voice interfaces for phones and tablets, has raised $13M in a Series A funding. The funding was led by IDG Ventures and a subsidiary of USAA, and also included Intel Capital, Samsung Ventures, Telefonica Digital, Liberty Global Ventures, Fenox Ventures, Westcott LLC, and Quest Venture Partners. Google Ventures, Greylock Partners, Bessemer Venture partners, and KPG Ventures also participated. Expect Labs said the funding brings its total raised to $15.4M. Expect Labs is led by Tim Tuttle.
