Trimble Buys IRON Solutions
Sunnyvale-based Trimble has made another acquisition in the agricultural market, saying today that it has acquired Tennessee-based IRON Solutions. IRON Solutions provides a cloud-based system used for market analytics, which Trimble said will improve real-time decisions for equipment fleets. IRON Solutions offers up tracking of equipment sale transactions, configuration and pricing software for OEMs, and analytics software used for equipment value forecasting, among other products. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed.
