Cisco Backs KeyTone For Chinese Cloud
San Jose-based networking equipment maker Cisco is making an investment in Chinese cloud developer Shanghai KeyTone Information Technology Co. Ltd, the two said last week. Size of the strategic investment was not announced by the companies. The two said the investment comes along with a memorandum of strategic cooperation to offer up hybrid cloud technology to Chinese service providers and the enterprises. KeyTone is venture backed by Gobi Partners and CBC.
