The Hive Gets $22M For Big Data Startup Incubator
Palo Alto-based startup "studio" The Hive announced today that it has raised $22M in a second investment fund, The Hive II. The company--which calls itself a "co-creation studio", helps incubate big data-focused startups. The Hive said it will use the funding to identify, build and launch up to 10 new companies that are leveraging data and the innovations in data science and scale-out infrastructure. The Hive is led by T.M. Ravi.
