Facebook Buys TheFind
Mountain View-based Facebook said late Friday that it had acquired TheFind, an online service which let users find products and track their shopping. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. TheFind said that it will be taking its search engine offline as a result of the deal. Facebook said it will use the acquisition to help make Facebook ads more relevant and better for consumers. TheFind was based in Mountain View, and led by Siva Kumar.
