Glooko, the developer of mobile apps to help diabetes patients manage their health, has raised $16.5M in a Series B funding round, the company revealed this morning. The funding came from Canaan Partners, Medtronic, and Social+Capital Partnership and Samsung. Glooko's apps connect to glucose monitoring devices from hardware manufacturers, and helps track blood sugar levels of patients, helping them better manage their diabetes. The company has now raised $27M in funding.
