SmartNews Raises $10M For US Expansion
SmartNews, a Japanese startup which develops news discovery apps, said today that it has raised $10M in a bridge funding, for expansion in the U.S. The company has its U.S. headquarters in San Francisco. The funding came from GREE, along with Globis Capital Partners, Atomico, Mixi and Social Venture Partners. The funding reportedly values the company at $320M.
