Accela Buys Springbook Software
San Ramon-based government software developer Accela said Wednesday that it has acquired Springbook Software, a developer of cloud-based financial software for local governments. Financial details of the acquisition deal were not announced. Accela said it financed the acquisition in part by the big, $143.5M funding it recently announced from ABRY Partners, J.P. Morgan, Karlani Capital, Landmark Capital, and others.
