The RealReal Picks Up $40M
San Francisco-based online fashion marketplace The RealReal, which lets people sell their fashion clothing on consignment, has raised $40M in a Series D funding round. The funding was led by Industry Ventures, and also included Greycroft Growth, DBL Partners, e.Ventures, and Canaan Partners. The company--which say it had more than $100M in sales last year--said the funding will go to help the company continue to grow. The RealReal was founded by Jlie Wainwright.
