Trimble Gobbles Up HarvestMark
Sunnyvale-based Trimble said today that it has acquired the assets of HarvestMark, a provider of food traceability and quality inspection products, from Redwood City-based YottaMark. Financial details of the buy were not disclosed. Trimble said the buy will bolsters its position in the agriculture, transportation, and logistics area in the food supply chain. YottaMark CEO Charlie Piper joins Trimble as a part of the acquisition.
