Quanticel Pharmaceuticals Acquired By Celgene
San Francisco-based Quanticel Pharmaceuticals is being acquired Celgene, the companies said this morning, in a deal worth up to $485M. Celgene said it would pay $100M in cash and up to $385M in contingent payments for Quanticel, which develops a platform for the single-cell genomic analysis of human cancer. Quanticel was venture backed by Versant Ventures.
