San Francisco-based human resources automation provider
Zenefits has scored a giant funding round, and joined unicorn territory today, saying it has raised $500M in a Series C funding. The company said the round values the company at a post-money valuation of $4.5 billion. Zenefits said the funding was led by Fidelity Management and Research Company and TPG, and also included Insight Venture Partners, Founders Fund, Khosla Ventures, and Ashton Kutcher's and Guy Oseary's Sound Ventures, along with Andreessen Horowitz, Institutional Venture Partners (IVP), and Jared Leto.
