PlanGrid Finds $18M For Blueprint Software
San Francisco-based PlanGrid, a developer of software for construction firms to store their digital blueprints, has raised $18M in a Series A funding. The funding came from Sequoia Capital. As part of the funding, Sequoia's Doug Leone joins the company's board. PlanGrid is led by Tracy Young. PlanGrid says its software is being used by major construction firms to store blueprints for more than 200,000 projects.
