Maana Gets $14M For Big Data Search Technology
Palo Alto-based Maana, which says it is developing search engine technology focused on big data, has raised $14M in a funding round. The funding came from Chevron Technology Ventures, ConocoPhillips Technology Ventures, Frost Data Capital, GE Ventures, and Intel Capital. Maana is led by Babur Ozden. The company said the funding includes $11M in a Series A combined with earlier seed funding.
