San Jose-based
Rani Therapeutics, a developer of a "robotic pill" for delivering drugs orally to patients, has raised a Series C funding round, the company said Tuesday. Size of the funding round was not announced. The funding came from Novartis, Google Ventures, InCube Ventures, and VentureHealth, along with others. Rani is led by Mir Imran. The deal comes along with a collaboration partnership with Novartis.
