Parade Technologies Pays $100M For Cypress's TrueTouch Mobile Business
Santa Clara-based Parade Technologies, Ltd. said it has acquired the TrueTouch Mobile business of Cypress Semiconductor. Parade said it will pay $100M in cash for that business, which capacitive touch-sensing and other electronics for the touchscreen and mobile market. Parade was advised by Lazard Freres & Co., LLC and Morgan Lewis & Bockius LLP; Cypress was advised by Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati in the deal.
