Philo Finds $10M In Funding
San Francisco-based Philo>, which is developing a next generation digital video and television specifically aimed at students, said today that it has raised $10M in a Series B funding. The funding was led by New Enterprise Associates, and also included CBC New Media Group, HBO, Rho Ventures, and XFUND. Philo currently only offers its service to college students, on college campuses. The company is led by Andrew McCollum.
