DoubleDutch Picks Up $45M
San Francisco-based DoubleDutch, which develops mobile apps to help manage and run events and trade shows, has raised $45M more in funding, the company said this morning. The funding was led by KKR, and also included Bessemer Venture Partners, Index Ventures, and others. The company, led by Lawrence Coburn, said the funds go towards global expansion, sales and marketing, and targeted acquisitions. DoubleDutch's apps are used for managing corporate events, associations, and trade shows.
