castAR Conjures Up $15M For Augmented Reality Gaming
Mountain View-based augmented reality gaming startup
castAR
said this morning that it has raised $15M in a Series A funding round. The funding came from Playground Global, as well as seed investors. The company said the funding will go towards business and product development efforts, plus hiring. castAR is led by David Henkel-Wallace, and says it plans to launch its products commercially in 2016. The company was formerly known as Technical Illusions.
