AlienVault Raises $52M More
San Mateo-based AlienVault, a develper of threat intelligence tools, said this morning that it has raised $52M in a Series E funding round. The funding was led by Intitutional Venture Partners, and also included prior investors Trident Capital, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers and GGV Capital. IVP General Partner Steve Harrick joins AlienVault's board as an observer. The company says it has now raised $116M for its open threat intelligence platform and community. AlientVault is led by Barmak Meftah.
