Api.ai Finds $3M For Natural Language, Speech Processing API
Palo Alto-based Api.ai, a developer of an API to help developers implement natural language, speech processing in their software, has raised $3M in a funding round. The funding came from SAIC Capital, the venture arm of Chinese automaker SAIC Motor. The funding also included Intel Capital, Motorola Solutions Venture Capital, and the Alpine Technology Fund. Api.ai develops speech recognition tools, and is led by Ilya Gelfenbeyn.
