Qnovo Raises $8.6M For Smart Battery Charging
Newark, California-based battery charging technology developer
Qnovo
announced this morning that it has raised $8.6M in a Series B funding. The funding was led by Intel Capital, and also included RockPort Capital, U.S. Venture Partners, and BRV Lotus. The company said the funds go towards the 2016 launch of smartphones incorporating its adaptive charging technology, which it says extends battery life and improves battery runtime. Qnovo is led by Nadim Maluf.
