Adept Technology Acquired By OMRON For $200M
Pleasanton-based Adept Technology, a developer of robotics technology, has been acquired by Japan's OMRON, the two said this morning. The deal is worth approximately $200M. According to OMRON, it will pay $13.00 per share in cash for Adept. Adept is a manufacturer of industrial robots, which are used in automation and manufacturing.
