Clover Health Finds $100M For Tech Enabled Health Insurance

, a health insurance company which uses software technology to help reduce healthcare costs, has raised $100M in a combined equity and debt funding. The funding came from First Round Capital, and also included Athyrium Capital Management. The company currently only offers its health insurance coverage to seniors in New Jersey. First Round's Josh Kopelman joins the company's board with the funding.
