Autodesk has acquired industrial manufacturing software developer
netfabb, the company said this morning, to help bolsters its solutions for industrial additive manufacturing. Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed. netfabb's products are used in 3D printing. Autodesk said the deal will help it move 3D printing beyond prototyping and plastics to production-grade parts at scale.
