said Wednesday that it has acquired
Jibe Mobile
, a developer of text messaging technology and tools based on the Rich Communications Services (RCS) and WebRTC standards. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Jibe Mobile was led by Amir Sarhangi. Jibe Mobile was based in Mountain View, and also had offices in London and Dusseldorf. Jibe was founded in 2006.
