Zendesk Buys BIME Analytics
San Francisco-based Zendesk said Tuesday afternoon that it has acquired French company We Are Cloud SAS, the owner of the BIME Analytics software. Zendesk said it would pay $45.0M in cash for We Are Cloud SAS, and also has issued approximately 480,000 shares of Zendesk common stock to help retain employees. Zendesk said it would use the core technology behind BIME Analytics to power its customer data platform. We Are Cloud SAS was founded in 2009.
