Frazier Healthcare Partners
announced a new, $262M life sciences fund this morning,
Frazier Life Sciences VIII, L.P.
. The fund closed with $262M in capital commitments, which it says it will invest exclusively in companies developing novel therapeutics. The company said the new fund brings its total under management to more than $2.4 billion. Details on the limited partners in the new fund were not announced. Frazier said the fund will focus on drug development ranging from early-stage, preclinical opportunities, to later-stage clinical development activities and specialty pharmaceutical companies.
