Spiro Scores $1.5M In Seed For Sales App
San Francisco-based Spiro said today that it has launched a new, free app, which is aimed at helping salespeople close more deals, and raised a seed funding. The startup said it has raised $1.5M in a seed funding round, which came from Rod Wadsworth (HarbourVest partners), Vijay Balan (Facebook), Tom Tucker (Akibia), Christopher Lochhead (PlayBigger Advisors), and Omar Hussain (Imprivata). The company says its app helps integrate information from Salesforce, email, calendars, and elsewhere to help salespeople figure out who to call, email or meet with to advance their sales pipeline. Spiro is led by Adam Honig.
