San Francisco-based
University Now, the operator of a number of accredited, online education programs, has sold a learning software platform to
Penn Foster Education Group. According to Penn Foster, it has acquired UniversityNow's competency-based learning platform, and will license it to its educational affiliate, Penn Foster, for deployment to its students. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. The company said that UniversityNow previously had developed that platform for use with Patten University, its online education venture. Other details of the deal were not disclsoed.
