SnapLogic Gains $37.5M from Microsoft, Silver Lake Waterman
San Mateo-based big data integration software developer SnapLogic announced today that it has raised $37.5M in a funding round, from Microsoft, Silver Lake Waterman, and others. The funding also included existing investors Andreessen Horowitz, Ignition Partners and Triangle Peak Partners. The company said the funds go towards growth, plus expansion internationally. SnapLogic is led by Gaurav Dhillon. The company bills its service as an "integration platform as a service" or (iPaaS).
