Sungevity Scores $650M For Solar Power Efforts
Oakland-based solar power installer Sungevity announced today that it has raised $650M in a funding round. The funding included $50M in equity, which came from GE Ventures and Apollo Investment Corporation, plus up to $600M in new project financing from Apollo Investment Corporation. The company said the funding goes towards both U.S. international efforts. Sungevity is led by Andrew Birch.
