RPX Corporation Buys Inventus Solutions For $232M
San Francisco-based RPX, which provides patent risk management software, said Tuesday that it has acquired electronic discovery company Inventus Solutions. The deal was worth $232M in cash. Inventus is based in Chicago, and was owned by private equity investor Clearlake Capital Group. RPX said it expects to add $50M to $60M in revenues in 2016 due to the acquisition. The new acquisition addes new service related to litigation and compliance discovery for RPX, according to the company.
