Symantec: Veritas Deal To Close January 29th
Mountain View-based Symantec and private equity investor The Carlyle Group said Monday afternoon that they now expect Carlyle's acquisition of Veritas to close on January 29th, rather than January 1st. Reason for the delay in closing was not announced by either company. The $8 billion deal for Veritas was announced in August.
