NextInput Nabs $8M For MEMs Sensors
San Jose-based NextInput, a developer of MEMs-based force sensors, has raised $8.0M in a funding round. The funding came from Sierra Ventures, and Intel Capital and GoerTek Group Co., Ltd. As part of the funding, Sierra's Ben Yu joins the board, along with InvenSense founder Steve Nasiri. NextInput is led by Ali Foughi. The company said the funds go towards expanding its team and increasing production capacity.
