San Francisco-based
Scality, a developer of object- and software-defined storage products, has snagged a strategic funding from
Hewlett Packard Ventures. Size of the funding was not announced. Scality said the funding is part of a partnership between Scality and Hewlett Pcakrd Enterprise (HPE). The funding is on top of an existing, Series D funding, announced in August, which came from BroadBand Tower (BBTower), Menlo Ventures, and others. Scality is led by Jerome Lecat.
