Import.io, a developer of data scraping tools which help translate web pages into databases, has raised $13M in a Series A funding, the company said today. The funding came from Imperial Innovations, Wellington Partners, Oxford Capital, Open Ocean, Delin Capital and AME Cloud Ventures. Import.io's software is used to extract data from web pages, and used to create data feeds from those pages which are more usable for software. The company said it previously raised $4.5M in seed and angel funding.
