Scale Venture Partners Raises $335M Venture Investment Fund
Foster City-based venture investor Scale Venture Partners said today that it has closed Scale Venture Partners V, L.P., at $335M in committed capital. The venture capital fund said that investors in the new fund included both new and existing pension funds, financial institutions, foundations, funds of funds and family offices. Names of those LPs were not announced by Scale. The new fund is slightly larger than the $300M Scale Venture Partners IV fund that the firm closed in May of 2013. The new fund will be managed by Stacey Bishop, Kate Mitchell, Rory O'Driscoll, Andy Vitus, plus Ariel Tseitlin.
