Jan Medical Raises $7.5M For Concussion, Stroke Diagnostics
Mountain View-based Jan Medical, a developer of non-invasive, brain diagnostics tools used to diagnose concussions and stroke, said today that it has raised $7.5M in a Series C funding. The funding came from Brainlab, Inc. The company said the funds go towards clinical trials and FDA and CE Mark registration. The company says its BrainPulse tool helps to rapidly and reliably help detect abnormal neurological conditions including concussion and stroke. Jan Medical is led by Paul Lovoi, PhD. Ken Bruener of Brainlab joins Jan Medical's board.
