PokitDok Connects With Strategic Funding From McKesson
San Mateo-based PokitDok, a provider of healthcare data technology, which also operates an online marketplace for healthcare information, has raised a strategic funding from McKesson Ventures, the venture arm of McKesson Corporation. Size of the funding was not announced. PokitDok provides technology for managing healthcare data, integrated with an online marketplace for healthcare data--accessible via API--along with ways to connect healthcare providers and consumers. Tom Rodgers of McKesson Ventures joins the company's board with the funding.
