Intuit Sells QuickBase To Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe
Intuit has offloaded another of its software units, Quickbase, to private equity investor Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe, the companies said on Tuesday. Financial details of the sale were not disclosed. QuickBase is a developer of a development platform used by developers to create cloud applications. The companies said that Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe intend to operate QuickBase as a standalone company, based in Cambridge, Mass.
