Immersv Finds Funding, Launches VR Ad Network
Immersv, a new startup with offices in both Emeryville and Los Angeles, said today that it has scored funding from Foundation Capital, Technicolor Ventures, Rothenberg Ventures, TenOneTen Ventures, CAA Ventures, All Mobile Ventures, 137Ventures, Gigi Levy, and others, for a new virtual reality ad network and platform. Financial details of the funding were not announced. Immersv's platform helps distribute advertising to virtual reality platforms, to help virtual reality developers to monetize their content, and also is aimed at helping virtual reality content creators extend their reach.
