Avametric Picks Up $10.5M For Fashion Technology

, a startup using visual effects technology to render apparel and accessories in an accurate way for e-commerce, said today that it has raised $10.5M in a funding round. The Series A came from Khosla Ventures, Y-Combinator, and others. Keith Rabois of Khosla and Ivy Ross of Google have joined the company's board with the funding. Avametric said its technology create "incredibly accurate 3D images" showing how any item of clothing will fit on their own body.
